Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

” Okay, so first of all, Dinarobin is like walking into a dream where everything smells amazing, the beach is sparkly, and there are actual turtles in the sea!! YES. REAL. TURTLES. 

When we arrived at Dinarobin, I thought, “Omg this place is soooo fancy,” but not in a boring way. It’s the kind of fancy that makes you want to twirl around in the lobby because there are palm trees inside and everyone smiles at you like you’re a princess on holiday. The mountains behind the hotel make it feel like you’re in a movie.

Lunch was the BEST. I had lunch on the beach with my toes in the sand. You know that feeling when the sand is all warm and squidgy and then you bite into the most delicious burger ever? Yeah. That. I felt like a proper food critic, only instead of writing things down, I was too busy going “Mmmmmmm!

After lunch, there was… wait for it… AN ICE CREAM STAND. And not just any ice cream stand, one where you get to pick your flavour and toppings and it feels like a reward for being awesome at chilling. I had vanilla with rainbow sprinkles and chocolate sauce (obvs).

One of the most special parts of our day was our mummy-and-daughter spa session. It was half an hour of the softest, sparkliest body scrub (I smelled like a coconut princess), and then half an hour of the dreamiest full body massage EVER. I felt like I was floating on clouds. We both agreed: it was probably the best memory of the whole trip. Just us, relaxing, giggling, and pretending we were queens of the spa.

Dinner was at the most incredible Italian buffet. Not just pizza and pasta (though, yes please to both), but also fancy salads, cheesy things, and stuff with basil on top that made me feel grown-up. And the best part? I got to DANCE WITH THE CHEFS. Like, in the actual buffet area! The chefs were playing music and we all danced and laughed. It was the kind of night where your cheeks hurt from smiling too much.

Earlier in the day, we walked along the beach and GUESS WHAT… we saw turtles swimming near the shore! Mum jumped in with her snorkel and swam out and said it was amazing but it was a tough swim.

Also, everywhere you look at Dinarobin is like a postcard. One second you’re looking at the ocean, then you turn around and there’s a huge mountain. It’s like a screensaver but for real life.
