When life gives You Lemons - Head To italy
The Amalfi Coast, its rugged cliffs peppered with colourful medieval villages and lemon groves, is one of the most romantic spots imaginable and the perfect place for a luxury holiday. This trip takes in the best the Neapolitan Riviera has to offer, with breathtaking coastal scenery, delicious food and old-school glamour.
Beginning in the picturesque fishing town of Praiano, you’ll then head to the elegant island of Capri, a favourite of the A-list since the days of the emperors. Your retreat finishes up back on the mainland in the historic hilltop town of Ravello, all landscaped gardens, soaring terraces and historic Roman villas.
All the things you need to know
After flying into Naples you’ll be taken to Praiano, the first stop on your Amalfi Coast honeymoon. An ancient fishing village hugging the cliffside between Amalfi and Positano.
Don’t miss a boat trip on the hotel’s ‘Sea Gem’ speedboat, which can take you on excursions to Amalfi or Naples – there’s also a free hourly bus to Positano, from where you can explore nearby sea caves, rock formations and waterfalls.
After four nights in Praiano, you’ll board a boat to the next stop: the glamorous island of Capri.
A short way off the coast of Naples, Capri was the holiday spot of choice for the Roman emperors, and it’s not hard to see why: soaring cliffs and stunning sea views make up the scenery here, and the Blue Grotto – a sea cave whose structure sees it filled with iridescent blue light – is an absolute must-visit.
Heading back to the mainland, your idyllic holiday continues in the peaceful hilltop town of Ravello. Ravello’s historic cathedral is well worth a visit, as is the famous, centuries-old Villa Rufolo.
Your home for three nights.

At the end of a glorious day, take the lift up to the rooftop restaurant, and have your breath taken away by the gasp-worthy views over the sea and some of the best sunset views on the coast. Afterwards, it’s time for a post-dinner Limoncello Mojito on the cliff-edge terrace at the Seascape Bar (we’ve sampled it on your behalf and love it!).

Dine at two Michelin-starred restaurant L’Olivo: this is a real treat for all foodies, with Mediterranean cuisine crafted by local chefs – we recommend the lip-smacking spaghetti alle vongole or the seafood tartare. Tuck in while admiring the views over the Bay of Naples.
Il Riccio is a sleek cliffside restaurant overlooking the famous Blue Grotto, with a stone staircase leading to the sea. It also has a Michelin star – naturally, and offers fantastic fresh seafood as well as irresistible Neapolitan desserts from the aptly-named Temptation Room.
