All the things you need to know
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Florence. Upon arrival at Florence Airport, you will be met by your private driver and escorted to your centrally located hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a walking tour around the city which focusses on locally crafted objects and delicacies
Today, you’ll head into the woods with a local truffle expert and his highly trained sniffer dog to try and uncover some of these hidden delicacies. At the end of the hunt, indulge in a wonderful truffle-tasting lunch.
Highlights of today include visiting the largest Franciscan church in the world, Michelangelo’s ‘David,’ some lesser known Botticelli and Da Vinci works, and many more iconic pieces along the way.
Come hungry! You’ll assist a local Florentine in preparing a multi-course, traditional meal complete with local ingredients and regional specialties.
