With cherry blossoms in full bloom, April is the best time to visit Japan to attend a Hanami party or take in a geisha performance during the Miyako Odori festival.

April is the best time to attend a Hanami party, or cherry blossom viewing party which has been part of Japanese spring culture for centuries. Some of the best and most famous cherry blossom viewing includes Ueno Park and Yoyogi Park.

Visit in April and the island will have more of a buzz about it as venues open their doors again after winter.  Take a trip back in time, visiting the island’s many historical sites.
