Disney's Port Orleans Resort ~ Riverside

Orlando Fun

Orlando Adventure

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is themed around the southern charms of rural Louisiana. Divided into two distinct sections, this vast resort presents plantation-style mansions on its Magnolia Bend, and rustic charm around its Alligator Bayou. The main pool imaginatively resembles a swimming hole with a sawmill water slide, and there further quiet pools (five in total) dotted throughout the resort. Southern hospitality abounds Boatwright’s Dining Hall, and complimentary steamboats transport guests to the Disney Springs Marketplace and West Side.

The resort lies in the Disney Springs Resort area, just over two miles from Disney Springs. The scenic Sassagoula River winds through the resort and offers Disney transportation to Disney Springs, West Side and the neighbouring sister property – Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter. The resort’s Disney bus service operates between the hotel and Disney theme parks, so you can easily reach Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (around two miles away) and Epcot (three miles away). Beyond the Walt Disney World Resort, you can travel to Universal Studios in less than 13 miles, and Orlando International Airport in around 21 miles.

Highlights

~ Riverside Mill Food Court is a quick-service restaurant which has been designed to resemble a cotton mill.
