5* Paloma Finesse Side - Turkey

We have recently returned from a trip to Turkey which took us on a tour of Antalya, Side, Belek and Lara, where we got to experience everything this wonderful region has to offer.

We were lucky enough to visit this super luxurious resort, boasting a private golden-sand beach, complete with cabanas which is always a plus point.  This resort gives off an ultra-cool vibe with its modern and stylish interiors, and this vibe follows through to the rooms where each one is super stylish, modern and spacious and some even have a swim-up terrace.

The main pool is definitely the heart of the resort with plenty of sunbeds and parasols and in the sun the whole day. A must visit when staying here is the Palomaqua Aqua Park – twisting slides, virtual reality rides and a lot more.

The fine dining here is delicious and on point – The main restaurant called The Kitchen, has reinvented the buffet as we know it.  Instead of a maze of ready-made dishes, expect loads of different stations offering everything from fresh pasta and grilled seafood to dry-aged meats and Turkish eats and you can watch the chefs as they work their magic creating these delicious dishes. Then there’s The Beach Club, where you can tuck into net-fresh seafood in the evening, and light bites and creative cocktails during the day. Peckish during the day? The Bistro is the perfect place to refuel and offers sweet treats, loose leaf teas and artisan coffee.

When it comes to the à la carte eateries, you’re in for a treat. The Med Kitchen serves contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with a special finesse touch for lunch and dinner – menus include the likes of pizza baked in a brick oven and tasty veggie dishes. For an unforgettable evening, book a table at the Chef’s Kitchen, where each week a different world-renowned chef serves a degustation menu, just as they would in their own restaurants.
