Highlights Of Kenya

Experience the wild side

Take a walk on the wild side

Explore wildlife-rich rolling plains, spot the Big Five and take to the skies. Kenya promises world-class safaris, dramatic scenery and diverse cultures. This escorted tour provides the perfect pace for exploring both acclaimed and lesser-known national parks, lakes and private concessions.

Safari means ‘journey’ in Swahili and it was in Kenya that the concept originated. Kenya is renowned for its wide-open spaces and golden beaches, but it is best known for some of the most dramatic wildlife viewing in Africa, including the annual great migration of two million wildebeest into the Masai Mara, rumoured to be visible from space. As well as wildlife, Kenya offers the chance to experience fascinating indigenous cultures, such as the Masai and Samburu peoples.

Kenya is not all ceaseless excitement, however. There are some idyllic moments of serenity to enjoy at the idyllic East African coastal resorts. Although Kenya has gained a reputation for being a busy safari destination, there are many beautiful lodges in secluded areas away from high-volume tourism. Kenya has a beautiful coastline stretching down to Funzi island in the south. With old Swahili towns, traditional dhows sailing across the water, and idyllic beaches, the Kenyan coast is an ideal place to relax at the end of your time on safari.
