A journey through a land of ancient wonders ~ Jordan

Upon your arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be greeted by your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Amman, the capital city of Jordan. The following day, on a city tour of Amman, you will visit some of the city’s most prominent landmarks. You will then head to the ancient city of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world.

Today, you will drive to the stunning ancient city of Petra, but before reaching your destination, you will stop at Madaba, famous for it’s ancient mosaics. You wll also visit Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land, and the medieval castle of Shobak.

Explore the ancient city of Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The next day, visit Little Petra, a smaller, but equally impressive, version of Petra. You will then drive to Wadi Rum, where you will embark on a 2 – hour jeep ride through the desert, exploring the canyons, and dunes, and rock formations. This evening, enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner and spend the night under the stars. 

Today, you will visit Bethany, the site of Jesus’ baptism on the Jordan River. You will then drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Day 7 is a free day for you to relax or explore at your own leisure. 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight
