Tony has spent the past 35 years in travel, holding several positions from Retail travel consultant, moving into Business travel reservations, and then ultimately specialising in Sales & Account Management.
Tony has a real passion for the travel industry and for assisting customers in helping solve and shape their travel management programmes to obtain best value whilst delivering traveller solutions to meet companies’ duty of care objectives. Delivering carbon offsetting programmes to ensure that Meon are looking after the planet and reducing CO2 emissions whilst still travelling for both business and pleasure.
Tony has always enjoyed travelling around the world sampling different cultures, always making a point to go “off the beaten track” to experience how different people and cultures live. A particular highlight, being fortunate enough to fly Concorde to New York, travelling at Supersonic speeds whilst viewing the curvature of the earth was an experience he will never forget!
What's your next big adventure?
I would like to travel to Cyprus taking advantage of their winter sunny climate whilst taking a trip up the Troodos mountains to take in the stunning views.
Which items do you always take on your travels?
Passport, money, and a real sense of adventure.
What's your top travel tip?
To always put a spare set of clothes in hand luggage just in case my hold luggage bag does not arrive at my destination.
