A self proclaimed industry veteran with almost 40 years industry experience, David has worked across most areas of a business for both Independent and global travel providers. David has experienced exceptional highs having worked for Chelsea, travelling with the team and VIPs across Europe, as well as the very challenging times caused by global events such as 9/11 and the more recent COVID pandemic that had a major impact on the industry.
David has held multiple board positions affording him the ability to influence the business and sales proposition.
Passionate about travel and providing a fantastic service, David is not only a leader but a team player and family man who abuses every opportunity to listen and learn from others.
What's your next big adventure?
I have a big birthday looming and would love to celebrate on Safari…Treetops of course.
Which items do you always take on your travels?
My kindle, most definitely sunscreen, a hat, and of course the family!
What's your top travel tip?
Plan, do your research, get to know your destination before you arrive. Understand where and what you’d love and like to do when you’re in destination so you can maximise your time and experience. After all it’s too late when you get home and you might not get the chance return.
And always make copies of important documents… just in case.
