If you thrive under pressure and are a compassionate and organised individual then we have the position for you… we are an award-winning provider of business and repatriation services, currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant to provide outstanding service to assist with our business travellers and repatriation clients.

Our 24-hour team of experts handle sensitive situations with care, speed and efficiency in a busy environment working closely together to solve problems, discuss ideas and find inspiration.

Out of Hours / Nights Business Travel Consultant

• To offer and book travel and hotel accommodation for our business travel and medical repatriation clients
• Manage bookings outside of normal office hours
• To creatively support and understand our client’s needs and offer the best professional advice to solve travel and transportation problems and timing, with care
• To see through case management from enquiry through booking, ensuring effective prioritisation and smooth operational workflow
• To anticipate and implement operational procedures to ensure growth of client satisfaction and share problem-solving skills so maximising the efficiency of the department and colleagues

 
Key Competencies:

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a Business Travel role
• Technology – a working or previous history with a GDS, Galileo is preferable
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Time management
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills including an excellent telephone manner
• Problem-solving
• Common sense
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Key Competencies:

We operate a 24-hour 365 days per year on a variable shift pattern.

Shifts comprise of:

Mon – Fri – 18:30 – 22:00 / 22:00 – 08:00

Sat – Sun – 08:00 – 16:00 / 16:00 – 22:00 / 22:00 – 08:00

Shifts can be combined and are available on a part time or full time basis.

This position will be homebased once fully trained. Full training will be given in our Petersfield office.
