Responsibilities: 

  • Working with senior management to get the best performance from the business
  • Ensuring financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments
  • Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues
  • Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets
  • Developing relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Identifying business opportunities in target markets
  • Presenting the business and it’s reputation at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Identifying and optimising business opportunities

Qualities required:

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good business sense
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Good IT, budget and report writing skills
  • Full drivers licence
