The Paradis Beachcomber Resort & Spa is quite simply stunning. Located on the Morne Peninsula with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Le Morne Brabant Mountain towering in the background and perfectly positioned next door to the Dinarobin. The resort is a family friendly luxury hotel with a definitive, sporty vibe, so you can expect it to be a lot livelier and busier in comparison to the Dinarobin.
The views from this resort are second to non, with an expanse of fine white sand beach that seems to go on forever. You will certainly be able to enjoy endless hours relaxing on it, but for those of you looking to burn off some excess energy, you will not be short of activities to choose from as the hotel offers a fantastic variety of land and water sports.
The reception area is large but welcoming, with a few shops selling essentials should you need anything.
The pool area here is the communal point, with plenty of sunbeds and a real buzz of people and activity. The children in particular will love being able to hop from the pool to the beach in a matter of steps.
It goes without saying that Mauritius boasts some of the best golf courses in the world, and the one here at Paradis is no exception. You will find the beautiful, turquoise lagoon to one side of the property and on the other side, the immaculate, professional 18-hole golf course.
Paradis has four fantastic restaurants, with varying culinary trends and where no meal is ever just satisfactory. One of our favourites was the La Ravanne, the cuisine was simply sensational and in a stunning setting.
During our visit we were informed that the rooms recently have been refreshed, now more modern and contemporary in design compared to that of the Dinarobin, with a white and aqua colour scheme throughout. The higher grade rooms are situated at the edge of the resort with access to quieter areas of the beach.
This resort is all about family, from young to old, multi-generational families looking to travel together would not be disappointed choosing Paradis.
