All the things you need to know
On arrival, make your way to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure to relax. If time allows, perhaps visit the Alaska Botanical Garden or take a trolley tour. This evening, sample fresh Alaska ingredients at one of the many restaurants and bars or take in a dinner theatre.
Today, enjoy a six hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. The park boasts abundant wildlife, alpine and tidewater glaciers, and breathtaking scenery. Be sure to keep watch for wildlife, such as Stellar sea lions, seals, puffins, eagles, and whales. You will also stop in front of the glacier to hear it moving and may even be fortunate enough to see ice fall into the ocean, so keep your camera. ready.

Depart mid-morning by scheduled bus to Talkeetna, a small, funky, turn of the 20th century gold mining town which has retained much of its early Alaska flavour.
The majority of the day is free to explore Talkeetna. Explore downtown where its main street is lined with historic buildings, shops, art galleries and restaurants. Perhaps try some of the varied outdoor activities including hiking, boat, and flightseeing trips? This evening, depart by scheduled bus to Denali and on arrival take the hotel shuttle bus to your hotel which is in the Denali Park entrance area.
Discover Denali National Park on a narrated bus tour, which is around 4-6 hours long and takes you approximately 30-43 miles into the park (depending on weather and road conditions). Absorb the pristine wilderness, and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, such as bears, caribou, and moose, as well as views of the impressive Mt Denali.
Make the most of a free morning to enjoy some of the park’s optional activities (extra cost). Depart early this afternoon on the Alaska Railroad to Anchorage, and on arrival this evening, make your own way to your hotel.
