Itinerary

Embark on ship between 2pm – 4pm.

Once you’ve landed in Rome, you’ll take a private transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay in the city at NH Collection Palazzo Cinquecento.
 
 

Known as ‘The Eternal City’ for its age and history, you’ll have two full days to explore. We suggest taking your first full day to get to know your surroundings and explore a little. Guided tours are the best way to learn more and acquaint yourself with the area. Otherwise, follow your nose, literally, and sample some of the delicious delicacies native to Rome.

This Greek Isle’s history dates back before the year 4000 BC. The island has a rich history of silver and lead mining and was one of the first places where currency minting occurred in Greece. Today, the island is frequented for its beaches, churches, festivals, food, and of course, classic Greek isle architecture.

Day two in Rome – if you’re a history fan, you’ll want to use this day to take in some of the ancient landmarks, including the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Roman Forum. Rome is host to a vast number of museums and shopping venues to keep you entertained. Enjoy your last day in the city before you embark on your SeaDream cruise.

Your first stop is Bonifacio on the southern tip of Corsica, France. Jagged white cliffs and the imposing fortified citadel welcome you to the island. Enjoy your first land adventure, which takes you to discover the charming Corsican town of Sartene on a guided tour, including a tasting of local wines and delicacies.

One of the lesser-known islands on the Amalfi coastline, Ponza is a yachting island. Around three-and-a-half miles in length, it boasts unspoilt nature and a beautiful coastline that’s perfect for kayaking. Expect to be amazed travelling through the small caverns and view the glinting sapphire waters in the blue grottos.
 
On day seven of your voyage, you’ll be faced with what you might consider a typical southern Italian coastline, with a rainbow of multi-coloured buildings dotting the coast. Amalfi is a perfect location for reaching the historical village of Ravello – take a trip up the cliff on a guided walk through the village, stopping off at the cathedral and quaint shops.
 
Day two in Amalfi takes you to visit the remains of Pompeii. See the ruins through a unique lens, using a 3D headset that’ll show you what the city looked like before Mt. Vesuvius destroyed it in A.D. 79. The city is overlooked by the looming mountain and makes for a striking landscape.
 
Positano is well known for its eye-catching, brightly coloured buildings and makes for a perfect picture opportunity. The city is more than just a pretty face, though. Take a guided tour through the streets, tasting fresh produce from the Positano markets as you learn more about this eclectic city.
 
This morning you’ll arrive through the Bay of Naples into Sorrento. With the yacht docked for two days in the marina, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the cobbled streets of Sorrento or a climb and hike up the hills of the coast to see the lemon and olive groves that are so characteristic of southern Italy.
 
Day two in Sorrento would be a great time to explore the surrounding coast and waters. Take a swim from the marina decks that reach out into the sea or wander around the piazzas and enjoy the atmosphere of the square as you relax over coffee and cake. Whilst you’re in the area, don’t forget to pick up a bottle of limoncello to take home.
 
Capri is the final stop on your southern Italian voyage. Take in the beautiful white rock formations as you dock into the marina. In Capri, you can take part in the ‘Island of Love’ land adventure. This takes you along the jagged coastline, where you’ll visit the coral cave and jump on the fantastic chairlift that transports you to the top of Mt. Solaro for stunning views over the island.
 
Disembark SeaDream I for your private transfer to Fiumicino airport for your return flight back to the UK.
