One of my highlights was dining at La Panoramic, an altitude of 3,032 meters. It really is a mountain restaurant with spectacular views. The local cuisine is a treat—think hearty alpine dishes that warm you up after a day in the snow!

But here’s the best part: even if skiing isn’t your thing, France has so much more to offer. In Tignes, you can enjoy snowshoeing through serene landscapes or take a relaxing dip in the thermal baths at Tignes les Bains. Plus, the nearby Folle Douce is a unique experience not to be missed. It’s a lively après-ski venue where you can dance the night away while enjoying delicious food and drinks. Don’t forget to buy your wooly hat from the gift shop!
