” This hotel is such a vibe. I was very excited to see this hotel, as its one of our biggest sellers. In the last year, 45% of all British visitors to the Maldives stayed at the Siyam World. The possibilities are endless here, and they consider it a carefree playground. Upon arrival, we were greeted with Coconuts and driven around the island in our very own electric Mini Moke. This is one of the largest islands in the Maldives, with over 400 rooms but again, you still feel like you are the only person on the island. The all-inclusive plan here is ‘WOW’ all-inclusive offering 24 hour premium all-inclusive, a resort unlike any other.
The hotel suits all ages. Groups, families and couples, and being a larger island, there is always somewhere quiet you can tuck yourself away in. The best seller here is the overwater bungalows with private pools and slides, they are usually some of the best priced overwater bungalows on the market.
The one thing I loved the most is their ‘Bye Bye Boredom’ list of adventures; the island offers so much including the biggest water park in the Maldives, a continuous pool party, room parties and lots of complimentary sports and games, kids club, and authentic Maldivian experiences from destination dining to visit neighbouring islands. For the more exclusive guest, the island has a host of ‘Residence Rooms’ of which privacy is key. These rooms have a list of it’s own benefits including in villa dining.
My favourite experience on the island are the horses. They have 7 Marwari horses, a very rate breed from India. You can go horse riding on the beach and being a passionate equestrian I just had to jump at the opportunity. The horses are immaculate and very well looked after, it really was a special moment for me and an experience that had long been on my bucket list.
