One word from the moment you step on board to the moment you leave – spoilt!
Whilst Crystal Serenity isn’t the largest ship out there, her focus is undeniably on pure, uncompromising luxury. With an incredible 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio, your every need is effortlessly anticipated. Serenity is the epitome of refinement, recently refurbished to the highest standards. Not a scuff, chip or wrinkle in sight – every detail is immaculate. Every surface gleams, every corner is pristine. Used glassware, napkins, and plates disappear like magic, and thanks to Crystal’s policy of not filling to full capacity, there’s a serene sense of space – no queues, no scrambles, just calm, elegant ease.
Cabins are beautifully appointed, plush and modern, with housekeeping and butler service that feels more like staying in a five-star suite than being at sea.
Now – the food. Let’s talk about the food.
Whichever of the onboard restaurants you choose, it’s a gastronomic experience. Every dish is beautifully presented, with attentive and genuinely passionate staff who are eager to guide you through the menu. But the highlights? Dining at Nobu and Beefbar – two of the world’s most exclusive culinary names, now masterfully recreated at sea.
At Umi Uma by Nobu Matsuhisa, I was blown away by the sashimi platter – fresh, vibrant, melt-in-your-mouth – and the black cod miso, which genuinely lived up to its legendary reputation. The attention to detail, from the plating to the perfectly balanced flavours, was unreal.
Then there was Beefbar – luxurious, sultry, and just sensational. Think wagyu sliders, truffle-infused everything, and a wine list that could rival any on land. It wasn’t just dinner; it was a full-on culinary event.
Crystal’s dining isn’t just about eating – it’s about celebrating food. From elegant fine dining to more casual bites, it’s all done to an exceptional standard.
