What you need to know

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure. 

The following day, begin your journey with a visit to the Vietnam Women’s Museum, where you’ll gain fascinating insights into the vital role women have played throughout the nation’s history, culture, and society. Continue to the revered Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an iconic landmark honoring Vietnam’s revolutionary leader.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Hanoi’s vibrant culinary scene with a hands-on cooking class in the heart of the bustling Old Quarter. Start with a visit to a traditional ‘wet’ market, where you’ll explore an array of fresh produce, aromatic herbs, and essential Vietnamese ingredients. Under the guidance of expert chefs, learn the techniques behind authentic Vietnamese cooking before indulging in a delicious meal you’ve prepared yourself.

Following breakfast leave Hanoi for your drive to Halong Bay. Arrive at Halong City where you will board your boat. After your welcome on board, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board Overnight on board boat on Halong Bay

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the serene waters of the bay, surrounded by towering limestone formations. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as your vessel glides gracefully through the stunning seascape, making its way back to port. Upon disembarkation, transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, take a short scenic drive to your hotel in the charming town of Hoi An, where your next adventure awaits.

Today has an early start. Begin your journey with a short bicycle ride through rice paddies to the countryside. Visit a local farm. Your guide will explain the different steps of rice cultivation. Enjoy lunch with the host family before riding back to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure

Begin your day with a captivating walking tour of Hoi An, exploring its charming streets and rich heritage. In the afternoon, journey through Danang, crossing the breathtaking Pass of Ocean Clouds before descending into the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co. Continue to Hue with a visit to the renowned Cham Museum, home to an impressive collection of Cham sculptures. In the evening, indulge in an exclusive private dinner at the enchanting Tha Om garden house, a beautifully preserved traditional home standing on elegant stone pillars, where the central room is dedicated to honoring the family’s ancestors.

Hue food is unique to Vietnam and Hue offers a variety of “Royal” restaurant cuisine. Take part in a cooking class which takes approximately 2 hours. Enjoy the delicious and beautiful dishes that you make. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of this beautiful city. Start at the Imperial Citadel, from here take a cyclo through dai noi ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake. Before heading back to your hotel take time to stroll around Dong Ba Market with your guide 

After breakfast transfer to Hue Airport for the short flight to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. After having experienced the frenzy of Saigon by day, discover the lively local markets and street food by night.  Finally, end the evening at a live music café, returning to your hotel around 10:30 pm. 

Located in suburban Ho Chi Minh City away from the well trodden tourist path, this is not just a cooking class but a genuine insight into a Vietnamese kitchen. After your lunch return to the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. Free at leisure the rest of the day to explore Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy a last blast of savours at Mandarin Restaurant. You may have the opportunity to meet the chef and have a cooking demonstration. 

Your day is free until your transfer to the airport for your homeward flight
