Take an overnight flight from the UK to Buenos Aires.

  • Local Experience – Dinner and Tango Show at El Aljibe
    Surrender to Buenos Aires’ magical sounds, culture and gastronomy with a live show of tango, music and delicious food! The venue is a typical early-20th century house and the ideal stage for a true Porteño show – 15 artists, a tango orchestra, folk music group, dancers and singers.
  • Active Experience – Palaces Bike Tour
    This is a city tour with a difference! Perfect if you love history, architecture and travelling around a city by bike. You will visit charming buildings and lesser-known monuments that are not usually visited in the traditional tourist routes.

    San Telmo is the oldest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires and is well worth visiting with a guide, to learn about its history and cultural influences in depth. The tour explores this romantic district and is a wonderful opportunity to buy a piece of Buenos Aires’ history in one of its charming antique shops, or to just sit and enjoy a drink in the famous Plaza Dorrego.

 


Fly to Argentina’s glacier region in Southern Patagonia, one of the country’s most breathtaking areas!

Perito Moreno Glacier
Today you will visit Patagonia’s most famous glacier. Perito Moreno is one of the largest in South America and you will admire its imposing presence from different panoramic points. If you are lucky, you might witness the awe-inspiring thunderous collapse of some of the ice falling into the water below!

El Calafate to Bariloche
Morning flight to Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to the Kiulu Valley and visit a local village eco-tourism project. Join in activities such as traditional rice processing and rubber tapping, followed by a walk in the countryside. Afternoon transfer to the coast for a 2-night stay at Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa.

Bariloche
To admire Bariloche in its greatest splendour, you will travel to Campanario Hill’s viewpoint, where you can take your time to appreciate the most beautiful views of the town, the Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, and the other peninsulas, islands and mountains that make up this spectacular landscape.

  • Gastronomy Experience – Bariloche Beer Experience Tour
    Bariloche is famous for the lakes, the chocolate, and more recently, the production of craft beer. You will tour the most recognised factories whilst also enjoying the chance to taste the different, truly Patagonian, flavours.

    The deep-blue calm waters of the lakes around Bariloche are so inviting that a kayak excursion is one of the best ways to enjoy close contact with this beautiful piece of nature.
  • Natural World  Experience – Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest
    Arrive by boat at the beautiful Victoria Island and take a walk through the green conifer nursery. You will continue by boat to Quetrihue Peninsula to find the cinnamon-coloured Arrayanes Forest. This area inspired Walt Disney’s classic animated film Bambi.

Fly to Iguazu where tomorrow you
will visit one of the most iconic and marvellous national parks in Latin America.

Day 11 – Iguazu Falls
Brazil and Argentina share this famous national park, and today you will take a guided visit of these mighty falls in both countries. The Brazilian side will provide you with a spectacular panoramic view, whilst the Argentinian tour will have you walking along the edge to reach the famous Devil’s Throat cascade, thus getting you much closer to the powerful falls.

Day 12 – Iguazu Falls to Buenos Aires
Today you will take a flight back to Buenos Aires for your last night in Argentina. Your Tour Leader will make recommendations on where to buy that last souvenir, or enjoy that last meal.

Day 13 – Depart Buenos Aires
Time to say goodbye to Argentina and take your overnight flight back home. If you are not ready to leave yet, why not add a few extra days in Mendoza or Uruguay?

Day 14 – Arrive UK
Land back in the UK.

Best time to go

Iguazu remains warm and humid all year round. The Falls are at their fullest from December to March, as you get some rains during this period.
