If you thrive under pressure and are a compassionate and organised individual then we have the position for you… we are an award-winning provider of business and repatriation services, currently recruiting for an experienced Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant to provide outstanding service to assist with our business travellers and repatriation clients.

Our 24-hour team of experts handle sensitive situations with care, speed and efficiency in a busy environment working closely together to solve problems, discuss ideas and find inspiration.

Part-Time Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant

• To offer and book travel and hotel accommodation for our business travel and medical repatriation clients
• Manage bookings outside of normal office hours
• To creatively support and understand our client’s needs and offer the best professional advice to solve travel and transportation problems and timing, with care
• To see through case management from enquiry through booking, ensuring effective prioritisation and smooth operational workflow
• To anticipate and implement operational procedures to ensure growth of client satisfaction and share problem-solving skills so maximising the efficiency of the department and colleagues

 
Key Competencies:

• Minimum of three years’ experience working in a Business Travel role
• Complete competence using travel booking technology – minimum two years’ experience using GDS Galileo and Amadeus
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Time management
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills including an excellent telephone manner
• Problem-solving
• Common sense
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

We operate a 24-hour 365 days per year on a variable shift pattern.

Part-time hours available for evenings and weekend shifts. Shift pattern can be combined and are variable each week however the availability to work weekend shifts is a must.

This role would be ideal for Business Travel consultants who would like to work a few hours in the evening or at the weekend or, for individuals who wish to work less than 16 hours per week.

This position can be homebased once fully trained. Full training will be given in our Petersfield office.
